Pakistani companies participating in the forum represented a wide range of industries, including textiles, ready-made garments and accessories, leather goods and sporting goods, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and food products, logistics services, and tourism. Their combined export volume to various countries of the world exceeds US$ 500 million.
Russian company Astarta Agrotrading LLC and Pakistani firms Meskay & Femtee Trading Company and National Fruit Processing Factory entered into agreements on mutual exchange of goods such as chickpeas, rice, tangerines, potatoes and lentils.
In addition, representatives of the Russian public sector, including the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Economic Development, Rospotrebnadzor, the Russian Export Center, the Federal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, regional CCIs, as well as representatives of the banking sector, including MKB Bank, participated in the forum.
The first Pakistan-Russia trade and investment forum became a significant step in the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
