On October 21, Delovaya Rossiya, the National Council of Black Business and the Russia-South Africa Business Council signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Alexey Repik, Elias Monage and Pavel Yakovlev.
The agreement is aimed at developing business and political contacts between Russia and South Africa, involving the creation of joint communication platforms and strengthening long-term business ties. The main areas of cooperation include finance, trade, tourism and culture.
Alexey Repik emphasized that such initiatives strengthen business diplomacy, and Pavel Yakovlev noted that trade turnover between Russia and South Africa exceeded $1.2 billion in 2023. Elias Monage added that the agreement will be a platform for exchanging best practices and proposed creating a mechanism for its implementation.
The visit of the South African delegation to Moscow contributed to the discussion of priority areas of cooperation, such as energy, logistics and transport. Vice President of Delovaya Rossiya Nonna Kagramanyan spoke about cooperation with African countries and the initiative of the Russia-Africa summit.
At the meeting, representatives of the General Council of Delovaya Rossiya presented their solutions to South African business.
